Program Overview

The Clearview Regional School District Instrumental Music program is a multi-tiered system that supports two-hundred and fifty students in grades 7 - 12. The program is comprised of five curricular ensembles, ranging from a grade level ensembles in middle school to the award winning Honors Wind Ensemble. Students have the opportunity to participate in numerous extracurricular ensembles, including a marching band, colorguard, jazz band, and select chamber ensembles. Clearview students and ensembles perform throughout the Mullica Hill and Southern New Jersey area, including recent performances for the NJMEA State Music Educators Conference, NJBA State Honors Band Gala, Gloucester County Meeting of Superintendents, Wenonah and Mantua Township Memorial Day Parades, as well as the Region III (SJBODA) and New Jersey State Honors Band and Orchestra.

Wind Ensemble to Participate in NJMEA State Conference

The Clearview Regional High School Wind Ensemble was selected to participate in the bi-annual New Jersey State Music Association (NJMEA) Conference in February of 2018. The NJMEA State In-Service Conference is the primary This prestigious honor is given to approximately a dozen scholastic ensembles (band, choral, and orchestral) through a state-wide application process. The ensemble was selected on the back of its performance at the 2017 New Jersey Band Association (NJBA) State Gala in May. As a result of this award, the Wind Ensemble will perform a concert at the 2018 NJMEA State Conference in the East Brunswick Hilton Marriott. Guest Conductor Visits Clearview

On Thursday November 16th Dr. Joseph Higgins visited both the Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble at Clearview Regional High School. Dr. Higgins is the the director of bands at Rowan University, and has been a guest of the Clearview Band program each of hte last two years. Professor Higgins worked with both ensembles in preparation for their upcoming winter concert performances in early December. The Clearview Band program would like to thank Dr. Higgins for sharing his time and expertise with our students!

Marching Band Completes 2017 Season

The Clearview Regional High School Marching Band completed their 2017 season at the Tournament of Bands Atlantic Coast Championships on Sunday November 5th. The ensemble placed 7th overall in Group 2 Open, finishing with a final score of 92.85.
