Program Overview

The Clearview Regional School District Instrumental Music program is a multi-tiered system that supports two-hundred and fifty students in grades 7 - 12. The program is comprised of five curricular ensembles, ranging from a grade level ensembles in middle school to the award winning Honors Wind Ensemble. Students have the opportunity to participate in numerous extracurricular ensembles, including a marching band, colorguard, jazz band, and select chamber ensembles. Clearview students and ensembles perform throughout the Mullica Hill and Southern New Jersey area, including recent performances for the NJMEA State Music Educators Conference, NJBA State Honors Band Gala, Gloucester County Meeting of Superintendents, Wenonah and Mantua Township Memorial Day Parades, as well as the Region III (SJBODA) and New Jersey State Honors Band and Orchestra.

Marching Band Update - September 30th

Big thank you to Roxbury High School for having us at their 10th annual Classic. Your hospitality and well run event made it a worthwhile trip up from “Exit 2 on the turnpike.” Best wishes for a great rest of the season, hopefully we see you again soon. Congratulations once again to the Clearview Marching Band for placing first in Class AA at the Roxbury Classic, and for winning specialty awards for best music and visual. The ensemble placed fourth overall Interested in seeing “The Fallen” a bit closer to home? Come out and see our home show next week at Clearview Regional High School. Concert Band Performance Assignment #1

Students will perform melodic material individually to demonstrate proper tone quality, technique, accurate rhythmic interpretation, and musicality. Marching Band Update (Sept 24)

The marching band had a successful trip to the Northern Lehigh High School on Saturday. In addition to a great performance, the ensemble placed first in Group 2 Open competition, earning specialty awards for high colorguard and high percussion. Thank you to Northern Lehigh High School for their hospitality and wonderful facilities. The marching band is back in action next Saturday, September 29th, when they take to field at the Roxbury Classic. Tickets for the event can be bought at the door through the Roxbury Band Parent Boosters.
