Program Overview

The Clearview Regional School District Instrumental Music program is a multi-tiered system that supports two-hundred and fifty students in grades 7 - 12. The program is comprised of five curricular ensembles, ranging from a grade level ensembles in middle school to the award winning Honors Wind Ensemble. Students have the opportunity to participate in numerous extracurricular ensembles, including a marching band, colorguard, jazz band, and select chamber ensembles. Clearview students and ensembles perform throughout the Mullica Hill and Southern New Jersey area, including recent performances for the NJMEA State Music Educators Conference, NJBA State Honors Band Gala, Gloucester County Meeting of Superintendents, Wenonah and Mantua Township Memorial Day Parades, as well as the Region III (SJBODA) and New Jersey State Honors Band and Orchestra.

Edition 1.1 - January 2020 ---------------------------------------------------------------- Good afternoon, I hope that everyone is doing well as we get into the second week of our break. A few updates from us in the band department at Clearview. As always we are so proud of the music that our students make every single day, and we are looking forward to great things in the spring. Composer Bruce Yurko Visits Clearview

Thank you to composer and Rowan University professor Bruce Yurko for visiting with the Clearview Regional High School Wind Ensemble on Wednesday December 18th. The Clearview Wind Ensemble is working on Mr. Yurko's piece, "In Memoriam: Kristina," to be performed at the Spring Concert in May. The piece was written by Yurko for Kristina Damm, a Clearview student who tragically passed away while a student. The Clearview program thanks Mr. Yurko for sharing his time and the work with our students.

Clearview Students Make All-Region Ensembles

Congratulations to the eight Clearview students that successfully auditioned for the Region III Honors Band and Orchestra. These students will represent Clearview at Rowan University on either January 3rd-5th or January 10th-12th. Marching Band Selected for Thanksgiving Parade

Congratulations to the Clearview Regional High Marching Band and Colorguard, who were selected to perform in the 101st Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 26th, 2020. The parade is one of the oldest Thanksgiving parades in the country and features musical ensembles from around the country. The band and colorguard are honored to be selected and look forward to this fantastic opportunity and look forward to representing Clearview and the entire community. Look for us on your TV next fall as you get ready to celebrate!

Annual Clearview Craft Fair

Come and join the Clearview Regional High School Marching Band at the 2019 Clearview Craft Fair! The event runs from 9am - 3pm at Clearview Regional Middle School. Come out and get all of your shopping done early this holiday season!
