On March 26th the Clearview Regional High School Wind Ensemble traveled to the South Jersey Band and Orchestra Directors Association (SJBODA) Region III Band Festival in Egg Harbor. The Wind Ensemble received top marks, scoring a 96 out of a possible 100 points from both adjudicators, garnering them the highest rating available (Superior), and being awarded top overall band in Region III (South Jersey). As a result the ensemble was invited to perform at the 2018 New Jersey Band Association (NJBA) State Honors Band Gala in April. This award comes on the heels of the ensemble's performance at the NJMEA State Music Conference earlier this calendar year.

The NJBA State Honors Band Gala takes place on Sunday April 29th at Kean University. The Gala is a prestigious event bringing together 12 of the top ensembles from across the state demonstrating the highest level of scholastic performance. The Clearview Regional High School Wind Ensemble is invited to perform during the evening concert, alongside the top ranked ensembles from each of the three regions.
