I hope that everyone is having a great start to the spring. Just wanted to provide a couple of updates on the spring schedule for the marching band. We do have a few important events in the community during the spring time, and it is important that we continue to represent the school and the program well.

The summer and fall schedules are now available on the website at viewband.org. Please check the official dates for band camp (August 13-16 & August 20-23) and the fall performance and rehearsal schedule. The preview show will again be on the last Thursday of band camp (August 23rd), starting at approximately 7pm following the parent meeting. Reminder that all rehearsals and performances are mandatory unless specifically granted an exception.

Full Ensemble Rehearsal – Monday, May 21st (6-8p)

Parade & Performance – Monday, May 28th (7am Report, Tentative) Memorial Day Events

Performance (Mantua’s Big Night Out @ J. Mason Tomlin School) – Thursday, June 7th (4pm Report, Finished By 5:30pm)

Performance (Mullica Hill Event @ Chestnut Branch Park) – Saturday, June 9th (Morning, Event will be short, probably no more than 30 min)
