Eleanor Race Participates in NJMEA All-State Jazz Band

Junior Eleanor Race participated on Bass in the 2022 New Jersey All-State Jazz Band in November in Atlantic City. Eleanor successfully auditioned back in May, and was named the top Jazz Bass player in the state. She had the opportunity to perform with the band under the direction of Gunnar Mossblad in two performances, one in Atlantic City and the other at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark. She played alongside world-renowned bassist Christian McBride at the latter.
