Hiring Lead Colorguard Instructor

The Clearview Regional High School Marching Band is hiring a Lead Colorguard Instructor starting with the 2023-2024 School Year.

The position is a stipend extracurricular hire through the Clearview Regional School District, paying approximately $4,000 depending on district negotiations of extracurricular positions. All applicants must complete all school district requirements in order to be hired.

The ideal candidate will coordinate and lead the totality of the guard program, including the technique program, rehearsal schedule, and student and staff logistics. The person will also work with the rest of the team to plan and execute the field program, including design of the guard work and consultation about the drill design.

Full ensemble rehearsals start in August, school year rehearsals are 2:45-5:15pm on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons with either evening home football games or afternoon rehearsals on Fridays. There are five weekend commitments throughout September and October, culminating in the state championships at the end of October. Additional commitments, including parade and exhibition performances may be added throughout the school year.
