Marching Band Summer Update

I hope that everyone is doing well and having a great start to the summer. Just a quick update on the start to the marching band. We are still following guidelines from the school district, which were recently updated to exclude any in-person meetings until at least July 20th. At this point we are still in a holding pattern for advancing further. We are conducting some virtual meetings for students and parents to get further updates, the dates are below.

 

All students and parents are asked to join the Remind account (information below) which will be consistently updated as we move forward. Students also have a Google Classroom account which was sent to their emails. We are having section meetings to conduct some actual band/guard activities starting in two weeks. Dates are below, look out for information next week about getting equipment for low brass/percussion/colorguard students.

 

Due to the ongoing delays and questions in starting the marching band season we are also still taking people that are interested in joining the marching band and colorguard. If you know someone that is interested, have them message my email at twiernusz@clearviewregional.edu. No commitment for the fall is required,

Colorguard Meeting – Tuesday July 14th, 6:30pm

Percussion Meeting – Wednesday July 15th, 6:30pm
